Yeshua said to them,
“You give them something to eat!”

To feed the hungry, to be a Good Samaritan - these are biblical expressions which contain the spirit of the Messiah Yeshua. The Lord came to us when we were in sin. He came in our lives and commanded us “to visit him when he was sick and to clothe him when he was naked”.
Charity today is not a very popular outreach. The world has turned into forest where the strongest one survives. Thank God for the developed countries and for the strong social protection. Unfortunately there are still many places where the needs are great and there's much suffering. We have seen first hand when a delicious hot meal has made a difference.

Israel - desert turned into a garden. Praise God! Unfortunately not everything is that simple. There are many people with very serious difficulties. They can not find themselves in the new country and they fall. We have seen professors who became alcoholics; engineers and military pilots who became drug addicts because they were unable to accept the change of country. When we started a daughter congregation of Shavei Tsion (Haifa) in Nazareth - in the city where Yeshua had spent his childhood and youth. We were confident together with the congregation we wanted to start a charity project. We knew a small “Hot Kitchen” in Nazareth was God's plan for us.

Nazareth
Our start was very difficult. We came under attack from the enemy every step of the way. Starting with establishing connections with the city authorities, food suppliers and ending with purchasing equipment. Only the prayers of our friends in Israel and all over the world encouraged us to continue. It was a long hard road and we were not welcome. The city administration did not accept our work kindly because they were scared we were missionaries. Just remember how this city accepted our Lord (Luke, 4), praise God in our case He turned hostility into friendship.

Today the authorities send us many people from poor families, even though in the very beginning they did not want to hear about us. Every month we serve 1300 hot delicious meals and there's a need to increase this number to 1800. You will find all kind of people at our kitchen and you hear many different languages - Hebrew, Russian, Arabic, Spanish etc. Our kitchen is open to everyone who needs a meal. We serve food together with love and hope. Our goal is to feed the hungry and encourage them with the words of hope and God's promises. The food and the words filled with prayers can bring healing to needy and suffering people from different countries.

Haifa
We pray to rent a place for the kitchen by Nazareth’s example. Today we deliver food packages to the old and needy people, including disable Holocaust survivors. Please pray with us for the development of this ministry.
