"Return to Zion" – "Shavei Tsion" congregation was established in 2001 in Haifa, the third largest city in Israel. Haifa is located on the Carmel mountain range, which was the site of the dramatic confrontation between Elijiah and the prophets of Baal. Because it is a port city, Haifa has been the arrival point for immigrants from all over the world. In the 1990's large number of immigrants from the former Soviet Union passed through Haifa and many have settled there.
Shavei Tsion puts much effort into seeking God's countenance in order to restore Jewish worship to the God of Israel through the Messiah Yeshua.
